Does anyone know if any of the Mexican TV stations will be broadcasting the Olympic Qualfying matches?
Nope. No regular TV, will only be shown on closed circuit. Our good friends at Interforever sports have the rights. Apparently, not even SKY TV in Mexico will be showing the games live. Although what's happened in the past is that the Mexican channels on SKY will likely show either game highlights or full games with Mexico late at night. We'll see.
Interesting note - both Azteca 7 and Galavision (Mexican Galavision - Canal 9) have in their programming guides the Olimpic Qualifying Game for tonight at 6pm. I believe that's the kickoff time for the Mexico game. Guess they lied about the games not being available in SKY TV.
I'm not usually home until after 9pm, I was going to tape the games and watch them later so it wouldn't be much of a play-by-play. But I'll certainly post my observations tonight if I get a chance. Also, it's raining buckets out here right now, with the rain the way it is, my SKY signal gets lost. I'll try to tape and see how it turns out.
Anyone have any info on if the USA-Panama game is going to be televised in Mexico? Was wondering, as I could probably find somewhere with the game then.
On another thread another user in Mexico said he thinks that SKY is just showing the games involving Mexico's group.
Actually, it looks like it's just Mexico's games. Hopefully they'll televise both semis and the final regardless of who is playing.
