the only problem is that Corzo is a year older than Advincula...Revoredo is 4 years older than Advincula

it is true Polo is younger than Carrillo but its only 3 years difference

Let's give credit to what the current team has done so far without those players.

Honestly I don't know why people are saying we can't do much without those players. With the veterans, we would not have made it past the groups.

What Gareca is doing here is really going to save Peruvian football. He's doing exactly what happened in the Copa America 2015. This is an experimental squad to try and give these footballers playing in Peru a good career. I was reading an article about players who are leaving the Peruvian league to a bigger and more important league.

Gallese, and Ruidiaz are both off to Mexico. Vilchez is apparently beginning to receive offers from some teams in Argentina and Korea, Flores is linked with Club America, Trauco is linked with Velez, even Beto Da Silva who hasn't played is linked with German teams. I don't think these players would be off anywhere had it not been for Gareca who saw potential in them and that was reflected by league form. He's bringing out a whole new generation of players. We also have some other players with potential, Arakaki, Siucho, Iberico and Huamantica are a few examples but they're still too young to have been in this experimental squad.

    We have been here before

2015 with the older guys we got out of the group..we have not failed to get out of group since 97

Frankly my personal observation is that so far the 2015 team played better futbol than the 2016 version

It is important to remember that Zambrano, advincula, carrillo and ascues cant be considered veterans

I look forward to seing them integrated with the copa 2016 version

I fully agree that the 2015 version played better football but my point is we were playing awful in the World Cup qualifiers, and its no mystery either. Farfan, Ascues, and Vargas were not getting any playing time, Zambrano is too hot headed. Pizarro never performs for the National Team.

We've been excellent, but we need to score in the first half otherwise Pekerman will have a better chance to change things up at half time. Colombia look clueless at this moment.
