To me, Ecuador is a counterattack team and if your a team who posses the ball a lot and loses the ball. Then Ecuador is at its strongest. However USA doesn't seem to hold a lot possession
funny enough, he seems to always choose the pass....except when it counts. I really don't think of Bedoya as starting material but Klinsmann obviously thinks differently.
Great team defense right now by the USA very proud of them. Woods has been having his way with the back line of Ecuador hope that continues. If they made a few more key passes this game would be 2-0. Zardes and Bradley are getting on my nerves with their giveaways they need to stop that seriously
Zardes will not stop giving the ball away. Zardes sucks so bad... kills the flow of the attack most of the time.
That's today's game plan. Instead of trying a possession buildup they are trying to get the ball fast to Bobby Wood. Bobby has been excellent at running everywhere to make himself open and then keeping the ball when he receives.
If the Peru game showed anything its that Ecuador can come back, its a game of 2 halfs lets hope we can take control now
Don't mean to sound racist but isn't it a bit odd that almost the whole ecuador team is composed of black players? Most Ecuadorian I know are mestizos
