Supporter tickets through FIFA, which required a code from USSF to get into the portal.

scored a CAT-2 USA TST7 in the first phase and they stuck me in Block 328, Row J. The Row is actually towards the front of the section so it's not that bad. So looks like I'll be above and well in back of most of the supporters. Sort of pissed off that it seems that a lot of the CAT-3s are better than my CAT-2, but seems par for the course with ticket locations. I'm in the stadium, I'm in the US end, and I'll be loud!

Anyone with a seating chart for the stadium?

    Agreed!

And $45 for entrance, but food and beverage is entirely separate doesn't seem like a very good deal.

Either way, my group will be there before the Wales and England games. The night before the Wales game is the WC opener and that seems like a fun match to watch with a big group of fans, although the game kicks off at 7PM local time and the event at 8PM...

yeah I agree it's an odd start time. I'd think everyone wants to see the opener and with an 8PM start time, seems most will miss the 1st half. Then if you get right in at 8 should be able to see most of the 2nd half.

I plan to be at the match but still will buy the NBP tickets, even though I agree $45 cover charge is steep. It's not easy or fast to get out of Al Bayt either, I think it'll take some time to get to the party from that match.

I guess the thing to do is to try to get into an area bar, maybe even one in the W, for the first half and then at HT go over to the party. I have no idea how crowded the bars are going to be but that's the area that many of them are in the hotels.

Wales pregame meetup and march, all US fans

PREGAME Meetup and March (Wales 11/21): 6:30pm - Oasis atrium inside the Mall Of Qatar; next to the stadium.

Time to spread the word. Meet up and march to the stadium with all the US fans prior to the Wales game.

    - it's free
    - all ages, unlimited capacity
    - easy to get to
    - lots of restaurants and shopping nearby
    - very close to the stadium
    - very close to beer!

Location: Mall Of Qatar inside at the main Oasis atrium. The mall is next door to Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium and the Al Riffa Metro station (green line).

    Time:
    - 6:30pm: meet at the Oasis atrium inside the mall. Huge open indoor space (see pic)

    - 7:00pm: March #1 to the stadium perimeter. Beer sales begin inside stadium perimeter from 7p to 10pm.

    - 9:00pm: March #2 inside stadium perimeter to the seats.

There are tons of shopping and restaurants in the Mall but no alcohol served. Beer sales only available inside stadium perimeter 3 hours prior to kickoff and 1 hour after the game.

The Mall Of Qatar is pretty insane, tons to do and see if you arrive early and want to explore.

Given today's ridiculous news, any change on the above plans? We're considering finishing our 3pm bar res and booking another for 6pm, then getting to stadium maybe 830pm. No sense in getting there at 7pm, I think.
