Yeah i think so because its more plastic like than material. But from a distance they look similar. I think if you had the V3s there would be less chance of tearing and pulling kinda things.

Ok, Puma did change the material in the V1's correct? Because I am sending mine back and if they didn't change anything I don't want these again. I would rather have something to last longer than 3 training sessions.

    Re: V1.06 Thread (4) - All V1 posts here!!

I just bought a pair of Vencida II boots the other day. Great price as I assume they are an older model.

Experiences with them? I usually play about once or twice a week, mostly during the summer.

well the easiest way is the material. the v3's are shinny and quite a bit thicker in feel. as well as the stiching.

notice the line over the top of the foot. v1's don't have that.

Probably not best to compare turf v3's and SG v1's. But his boots are v1's so its cool.

I'm not going to start an argument with you because you're pissed I pointed out you made a mistake. I made you aware they were turfs and not studded boots, nothing wrong with that.

    Just for future reference:

Notice presence of studs on boots in picture #2.

look at the material on the outside

i dont know any technical terms, but on the V1 synthetics, the outside is covered in little squares

the v3's are without these squares, and they are just one big smooth outer

if you look closely its not hard to tell...i guess its all in the texture

or i could be out of my mind, its just what i've noticed

not pissed at all. i was just joking around. i didn't want to be like devil and put a :) everywhere.

needless to say the upper construction on the v3 and v1 ranges are the same through the fg,sg,and turf from what i can gather. (not v1=v3 but v1sg=v1fg and so on.)

    better????

No, you're right. It's like I said, the v3's are basically a more durable version of the v1, so the v3 upper is thicker material, rather than the "tent" material of the v1.

    Sorry about that then!

I think you're right about the material though...that needs checking out for confirmation.

bought a pair of these on the cheap last week in the black/white FG colourway...what can i say. easily the most comfiest boots ive ever had. i never thought i would find a boot more comfortable for me than the predators but i slipped these on and it felt like i had been wearing them for years.
i always say the sign of a good boot is one that takes no wearing in!
the only criticism i have is that i feel like i cant strike a ball as hard as when wearing my preds or supremacys. cant complain though its a small price to pay!!
i bought a few more pairs to sell on if ne1s interested

Hi this is my first post at this forum but I am always looking through here for interesting info but I would like to actually confirm that the leather V3's will be out sometime next month or sooner!!! The colorways released will be a black one, a white one, and and dark brown one!!! I'll get pix tonight...and actually my friend that works at an other soccer shop said he saw some already available from puma and ordered them... I am suppose to go take a look at them tomorrow...so will see!!!

Well I took my dandelion v1's back. The manager's first comments were "oh, these aren't the leather ones". When I asked what he meant, he said that they had more returns of torn leather ones than the synthetic ones, and he reckoned that the durability was WORSE for the leather v1's! He then offered me credit for another pair of boots - the only ones being White Konstrukts or Gold Legends, so I just got my money back.

It appears though that there may be some issues with leather v1's, so watch out!

I guess. Im disappointed now. Those were the next boots i wanted. Im not too keen on the other colours of V1s at the minute. I think the only ones that i'd consider buying would be the frosted as they are a bit unusual.
