    Launching next month? 93 grams?
Does anyone know if this will be a limited size run, like the adidas 99g?

Nope. It won't be limited. There will be a full retail release. I like the leather ones more although they are heavier. I will say though the fit and feel of these is phenomenal! I am very excited for these boots to release!

The Evopower 1.2 in leather is on sale here, are they comparable to the synthetic version in terms of performande/quality? The synthetic version costs around 50% more.

Ouch...for that kind of price, you should get a bit more out of them than few games. I love Puma but what is the point for putting so much effort in a product to just make it light but not durable.

That moment will go in the 10 page "SL memories" album that comes with it.... there should be an extra page to show the hole it burned in my wallet as well..(-:

Are the leather ones designed to only last 10 games as well?

I'm one of those types of players who comes off almost every game thinking I played badly. Irregardless of how I actually played. I'd be screwed if I owned a pair of these :ROFLMAO:

This is not a joke guys! Inside info. a couple months back from a Puma rep said this would be the case...

So, at least props to Puma for putting that label there.

I'm personally not a fan of less than 4 studs at the back.

I didn't notice it when I tried them on.
To be fair considering certain brands *cough* nike *cough* have boots that last 10 games anyways I say fair credit to Puma for being up front about it. Although I think you could probably get more than 10 matches out of them. The biggest problem these days when some of the younger consumers is that they expect to be able to treat their boots like crap and if they tear they try to return them rather than y'know actually take care of their boots! This label kinda points to that, since as we know most people who get boots are not connoisseurs like us who clean and take care of our boots.

Does anyone know if the 10 game thing only applied to the camo evospeeds or if it also applies to the most recent release aswell?

All of the synthetics apparently but like I said before I imagine them lasting more than 10 matches.......

the leather is supposed to be more durable of the two (well, duh)

It would make sense, the upper is the same material and I doubt the graphics or color will have an influence.

Any idea on Puma's stance w/the leather model? I am guessing the outsole isn't very different than anything else, except maybe thinner(?)...this would be the only thing that could be a "weak point", assuming the leather isn't shit.

Leather should be more durable. It's not the soleplate that is the issue on the synthetic, the upper is the issue. It just......wears away.

The standard synthetic evoSpeed SL (non-camo) also has the "10 Game" sticker on the soleplate...
