Because Compared to the Evospeed SL's they look like crap. They look bulkier than any of the other models and just sort of like they put all of their effort into the SLs and not much into the regular. I mean I guess in hindsight because the SLs look so good, the regular ones don't look as good in comparison.
Lived with it. Eventually it just went away. Never drench you boots fully in water, unless you put them through a washing machine to clean. I never had a problem doing that.
That's really nice! Is that only for Evospeed and not for the Evopower? Should be for Evopower too but they tend to be released in different colors I guess.
Yea the 1.4 is one step too far, they should do something new. However the idea for the upper (synthetic one) might be interesting in terms of ball feel. Still, I hope that they will come up with something new before the EURO. And the SL... Yes, that's the **** ! They will last for few weeks, but: excitement > thinking straight
Has any one else had some pain in the heel from the evoPOWER 1.2? The heel counter is extremely stiff and is the complete opposite of the 1s. After wearing the 1.2s for a two hour session, I woke up with a nice blister on my heel.
Do all of the EvoSpeed boots have a really thick insole? I noticed that my EvoSpeed 1.2s are a lot tighter than my King SLs so I pulled out the insole and there's a good 1/4 inch of padding on the bottom of the insole. Swapped out the insole from the King SL into the EvoSpeed and it immediately felt a ton better. It seems strange to me that a "speed" boot would have such a robust insole. Edit: To clarify, King SL Classico FG and EvoSpeed 1.2 SGs.
The the EvoSpeed 1.3 has the EvoPower Insole, which feels a lot better. I feel like it might be a bit thinner, but maybe due to the different positioning of the foam in comparison to the 1.2.
I'm not allowed to say too much but they are a new lightweight shoe Puma is going to release this summer. Super super light and they will be making a full leather one too
I really hope that medial side rear stud isn't Puma version of the "sense stud" or some rotating stud BS. I am still totally unconvinced by two and three stud heels on FG boots........
Me too. The Vapors were okay because they were stable in the respect your foot wouldn't rotate from side to side, but I have the Pele Sports Trinity and they're three stud config felt wrong. If they have a mixed stud version though I won't care.
It's just one big round stud. It's to help pivot the foot at the heel. They don't feel off like the Pele's did. Felt pretty stable when I had them on.
I'm really liking the blue colorway tbh and I'm so tempted to get a pair of the JR Evospeed (blame my small feet).
