Puma and the Fire had these for sale Sunday at the open house, along with the home and away jerseys and hats. They were 20 dollars each. Nowhere to buy them online as of yet.

Yeah, big thumbs-up on those. I was told they would be available at matches.

Has anyone attempted to buy a home jersey anywhere else? The BigSoccer store advertised that early orders would be sent out by March 25.

So my wife ordered mine on my birthday on March 12. Well, it should be no surprise that I haven't received mine yet.

An e-mail to the BigSoccer store resulted in a call from NY today saying that Puma had delayed shipment until May 1.

The bloke was quite astonished to learn that the Fire was selling them at the Open House Saturday. Peter Wilt must've pulled some big strings to get those jerseys available.

They arrived at the office the day before, i believe.

They have a lot. If you go to the office, I'm sure you can get one, though if you want it customised I think you have to go through Eurosport and MLSGear this year.

We all miss him. Last I checked he was hanging out on the chicagosports.com Fire boards finding any excuse to take a shot a soccer. I still think the guy is a closet soccer fan.

We should try to coax him into coming back over to this forum. It was always interesting. I do know that he lurks here though. He had signed up in one of the fantasy NFL leagues last season.

Yeah he could qualify for a mental disability because he dislikes soccer.

Well, he is. He was a fan of the Chicago Sting until its demise.
