Does anyone have experience playing on firm ground surfaces with either of these boots? I am torn between the two. I want the boot that will give me the least stud pressure and have the least impact on my shin splints. I currently wear copa mundials, but I don't think they have enough support. I have played on a firm field with both of these cleats. The puma king were not that bad of a boot but I perfered the nike AZT90 II. The nike AZT90 II felt like they gave me more support and were a lot more comfortable.
yeah i have to agree. i have aslo woren both boots and the azt 90 II seem to feel as if they have no studs as they dont dig in and make you feel like you are wearing a running shoe. the ankle support of them is also excellent i feel.
That is good to hear. I was leaning towards the Kings without hearing other people's experiences. The studs on the Kings seemed to be shorter than the AZTs which I thought would be easier on my shins when playing on hard ground. I also like the fact that the AZTs have synthetic uppers, I never liked that leather stretched so much and how it got saturated in the rain. When you wore these boots did you have shin spints at all?
nope i never suffered from them atall. i got shin splints with wearing copa mundial thats the only boots i have had problems with.
OK, going with the AZT 90s, but I wanted them in silver and my local shop only carries them in the white and black combo. Here is a link to them... http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductP..._Id=1&pcount=&Product_Id=91359&Key_id=1767726 I usually shy away from any shoe with white in them, but these don't look half bad. Does anyone have any photos of players wearing this boots, similar boots, in white? Thanks for the help, Jason
