Tuchel needs to tell people to have a shot at goal in games like this one. Hertha got a little too comfortable in the first half while Dortmund was trying to find the perfect goal. Pulisic should have a quota of at least one shot at goal in the fh.

Their Achilles turned out to be a heel as he missed the PK. They need the kind of leadership they had with Kagawa and Hummels.

Brooks played well, generally. He was burned once by Thanks Obama, which happens to the best of us, but otherwise was sound positionally. He cleared many clearances, and was generally an important part of Berlin's efforts to frustrate BVB. He did look a little shaky with his passing, which is understandable given the high pressure of BVB and that he hasn't played for awhile.

Should have moved him to the left. Can't lock him up if he's not there and the catching up is good fr attacking. Also agree, these guys are a Lil young to challenge this year.

When building from the back in the first 2/3rds or the ball is on the other side Pulisic is on the outside shoulder of the LB. When the ball is on his side in Dortmund's half he is in that wide channel coming to or making runs away from the ball. When the ball advances into the attacking half on his side or is being switched there he is making an early run in behind or playing off the back shoulder of the LB, trying to force the defense to drop and/or not rotate over quickly enough to close down the overlap or step to an AM. Then when the ball is wide and/or his run hasn't been picked out he curls his run back to the gap between the LCB, DM, and LB. There he tries to be a central option for a short pass or a runner who then crosses or cuts it back.
