Stupid by Mor, but that's a little on the ref too; should have blown the whistle against 15 way sooner than that for the card. Also, 15 should have been gone too, for 2 yellows (one on Mor, one for touching the ref).
Harsh red. Pulsiic needs to do more to demand the ball. Perhaps he is instructed to stay on the touch line, but I'd like to see him coming to the ball more.
The foul was so, so much more physical than the push. That's crazy that a "dude get the eff off me" push can earn a red when the foul was only a yellow.
At the end of the game there, Passlack was where Pulisic usually positions himself - high and wide. It looked like he wasn't really sure where he was supposed to be.
It looked like Hertha put two players on CP when the ball rotated to the right and he was positioned on the wing. Understandable after he burned them in the first half. As a result, about all he could do was backpass when the ball came up from Passlack and he was largely ignored by his central teammates. Moving inside in the last twenty minutes created space for Passlack to exploit, but now it's Passlack and not CP with the ball. Hertha were going to take that tradeoff any day, but it seemed to be the only way to get the ball down the right side. CP was making diagonal runs through the second half, but, once again, the central players weren't playing to him.
Agreed. Next year is the year to challenge Bayern, which itself is aging. And many years after that, if they can keep the team together. How long can Robben and Ribery perform at a high level?
