I know NBC has their Live Extra stuff online. Guessing Fox Deportes doesn't have anything? Dying to watch Pulisic!
3 minutes in. Looks lost already. Hope he makes it to halftime. (Just kidding. I just wanted to say it before it was popular.)
I was just thinking about Kramer's concussion during the WC, and then an instant later, the Leverkusen guy gets his head smacked.
Not much action coming his way. He had the ball in the Leverkusen corner, but got swamped by a several defenders. Won a ball along the sideline on another play. Had one driving full touch opportunity, but got dispossessed almost right away. The whole Dortmund side hasn't really been able to maintain possession.
Not great, but Dortmund is having a lot of trouble retaining possession. I saw him give a bad pass, and one time he did well to keep a long pass in play, had it taken away by two defenders, then tried to win it back but didn't really get it.
Weird game so far. Both teams very compact and not much action to speak of. Absolutely nothing going on on Pulisic's side of the field. Doesn't look like they're avoiding the left, just nothing going on. Weird.
If your cable provider supports it, you can watch on the FoxSports Go app. The game is in Spanish on the Fox Deportes channel on the app.
My understanding was that if you don't get that particular channel (which is often only available by paying extra for a Spanish package) you won't get it on the app either.
Prior action was that Pulisic had switched to right (had been playing left before) goes on a sprint to receive GK throw, fools Wendell on sideline near midfield, gets fouled. Then a few minutes later Pulisic gets played to in box by clever backheel but defender closes him down--he showed a little too much of the ball, but I must say it wasn't all that much, it's just another level. Sequence was probably BVB's best opportunity thus far.
Pulisic back on left now, tries to keep a ball in bounds and possession, doesn't quite do it. He's trying hard to find the game, but there's little joy for him or any of BVB's attackers. Not many opportunities either way, but Bayer clearly the better side so far today as we approach half.
