BVB score about the ugliest goal you can score. Bad pass that deflects to an open man. Half whiffed shot that takes a crazy deflection.

I wouldn't say that with such certainty.

Besides that deflected goal, he has not done much.

I believe the 3 of them is GREAT for Dortmund. Plenty of play times to spread around.

Mbappe's dad was a football coach so he went straight into that structured environment (but probably still played on the streets too)

Great run and pass into the box by Pizzcek....Reus makes it 0-2

This Stuttgart defense is absolute horror.

    Is is an ABUSE

Lazy turnover in the backfield by Stuttgart led to a Paco score

    0-3 Dortmund

Paco is going to be the BL scoring champ this season.

You’re not fooling anyone. A scuffed strike against relegation-fodder and you trip all over yourself running here to make such an absurd declaration. Sancho is a good prospect, but he has nowhere near demonstrated to be superior. His good fortune will normalize over time. Pulisic will also get a chance to play with Alcacer at some point, and will log minutes against relegation- fodder like Monaco and Stuttgart.

How can we analyze this to make Sancho look bad?

    ETA: Never mind

Did you see the goal? It certainly wasn’t a reflection of good individual skill. It was fortunate for Dortmund and Sancho. His good fortune will normalize over time. Some day guys will finish Pulisic’s would-be assists. (Playing with Alcacer is a start). When they played good teams whom they didn’t score 2/3/4+ goals against, CP saved Dortmund 4 points. Wasn’t so long ago, though some choose to forget.

CP will come in the second half and makes it 0-5

No, it wasn't, but Sancho is the new Dembele here.

It wasn't a slight on only Sancho.. if you saw the goal, it was nearly comical from start to finish, on both sides of the ball. I didn't mention sancho 1 time in my post. Don't be so defensive.

Wow, that's quite the opinion after so few minutes.

    1) you’re ridiculously defensive, in a Pulisic thread no less. 2) misleading stats or not, Sancho isn’t fit to wipe Dembele’s boots at this point

    Agreed.

The run was very good, but the goal was not magical.

It resulted from a blocked pass by Reus, and a defelcted shot by Sancho.

    Nevertheless, it's still a goal.

Quite similar to Busio's goal recently for SKC. I was excited to hear he scored his first goal. Then I watched it and thought, okay he almost F'd that up. Back to the game.

You're one of the most defensive posters in this thread RE: Sancho vs Pulisic.

    I'm not comparing Sancho's and Dembele's abilities.

You do know my comment had nothing to do with their respective abilities, right?

Paco completely misses the ball in front of goal.

Was it more about white-knighting Sancho because you have some bizarre complex?

Sancho has the Dempsey quality. Poor but scores an important goal. I'd definitely say that about this game. He's hasn't been good outside of the goal, a lot of poor giveaways. CP needs some of that magic though. It helps keep you on the field. CP is opposite most of the time.
