Great control in the midfield to create that chance. Atta boy.
JBL gets awfully jazzed up by the goal - follows up beating two off the dribble with a tactical yellow.
That's gotta feel so good... he's been under so much scrutiny recently, so to put that chance away in a cup game has gotta take a big weight off his back.
Seriously, 50 yard run with good ball control by CP, nice touch to Alcacer, nice ball into space back to CP just in the box, Pavlenka comes out but didn't have time to close CP down enough, can only deflect the shot.
Pizza dedicates this goal to his grandchildren.
Old Man Pizarro levels it
Pulisic doesn’t look great all match and then he scores...Nice.
And Hakimi gets his stat. 3-2.
Nailed that one. Fantastic assist by Philipp.
lol this dude loves being near the goal
Hakimi goal! CP hockey assist, touches wide to Philipp, who beats his man, plays it into Hakimi inside the 6, close range finish. It's fun when Hakimi sneaks this far forward...
Damn. What a finish. Tired legs on the defense.
The goal, if you're following via text:
Very good game. 3-3.
I'm available for anything you may need jinxed in the near future.
Harnik header scores off a corner. 119'. BVB just couldn't clear the ball.
goalie should have blocked that IMO
Bremen has its #1 keeper. BvB has the #2.
Pulisic has taken two in-game penalties in his career, and made both. One for the US U-17s in a friendly against England, one for the Dortmund U-17s. I don't know if he has ever taken one in a penalty shootout.
First ever appearance for your goalie ... and it's a shootout.
BVB Twitter went from hating on Pulisic to loving him after the goal to predicting he'll miss a penalty and cost them the game
BVB keeper kinda sucks tbh
Well, chances are the guy who misses the crucial PK is one of the guys who scored. So it's Puli, Hakimi, Pizza or Harnik that buries his team.
23 years old and this is his first appearance above the 3. Liga, and his first appearance for any club's first team.
Yea, I got Wikipedia.
