I'm not at all convinced by the idea of Diallo at LB.

I was about to say Hakimi is having a terrible game. He's constantly putting Pulisic in bad spots with inaccurate passing, he's getting caught upfield, and he's sometimes trying to occupy the same space as Pulisic, moving toward the middle when Dortmund needs width.

After Bremen gave them a good scare and almost scored the second, Dortmund is wary to send too many men forward, too.

CP another shit corner. But I don't mind the attempt to fizz it along the deck toward the penalty spot. Just too close to defenders.

Hakimi is an attacking winger that happens to play in the fullback position. You will always find him up field.

CP seems to be combining pretty well, I haven't been watching that closely until now...

Coming into the center and trying to get involved, hits a bad pass, but I don't mind him roaming. I mean, unless the coach minds...

BVB have looked unimaginative and have lacked crispness in the attack.

Pulisic has taken two corners I've seen and both of been poor.

No one was going to get anywhere near that pass.

So far the best R16 Pokal game, but still the Energy Drink vs. Volkswagen to come, and Club Hollywood facing The Old Lady should be a good one.

PS: Bremen corner kicks much better than Dortmund's.

1-1! Witsel wins the free kick in a very dangerous spot, Reus bends it into the upper corner.

Alcacer on for Reus at the half. Perhaps Gotze will move behind him.

BVB all of the possession in 2H so far, but it's not amounting to much.

Puli is signaling he's going to cross. He crosses. No one moves. Frustrating.

Cross to no one. Idea was better than the ball, not sure even if someone did make the run they would have been able to play the ball.

Pulisic gets a loose ball and quick 1-2 in the offensive corner, followed by a cross behind the defense that both wasn't perfectly placed and none of three teammates anticipated.

The cross was for a header. Puli forgot to send the RSVPs though.

PS: Beautiful play by Bremen, backheel, fake, kick on first touch, very pretty!
