I think this Griezmann kid is going to be good someday.

Pulisic worked hard to win and, maintain, and distribute the ball at the defensive end, then sprinted to the top of the box and his touch deserted him.

I thought he looked a bit better, actually. Lots more touches.

The way that guy took the ball from Puli was world class.

Two bad turnovers there, looks like he has no ideas when on the ball today.

Had a couple of better plays right after I typed that. Looks like there's a game plan to have him roam a bit more freely.

Can't go around dribbling against Spanish teams. It's like trying to sell sand to a Saudi Prince.

    And now he's out.

My wife: But we paid $9.99 to see him!

CP off. Decent sub IMO, he was doing nothing from what I've seen.

Maybe it was a bit early...

Does BVB need the win or just not to lose by a certain amount after putting in 4 at home?

Or .. having him available for Bayern was one of the points of taking him out at 60'. We'll see.

Advancement from Group play not at risk ...

They need nothing. A draw vs Brugge or a win in either of the last two games would be enough, and they may not even need that.

Even losing 2-0 is probably enough to top the group, after the 4-0 and so far they don't slip against the other two (Monaco is a shambles and Brugge is not at the same level, though).

Agree with above. This is the least important match of the Group for BVB.

Guerriero heads over the top from the top of the 6. Thank goodness that wasn't CP.

BvB is just poor today across the board. CP and Sancho aren't any better.

I don't think they've been poor. They're losing by a single goal, away, to one of the Top 5 teams in the planet.

Gotze on for Alcacer, who barely saw the ball. The world is saved from disaster as the sub is delayed while Gotze can put yellow tape over his white ankle tape so that he looks prettier.
