I think Kova for Havertz makes a lot of sense at HT. Sometimes the only way for a guy to get his confidence back is for him to realize he sucks so bad he can't be any worse if he tries something different.

 

i would like to see puli try to find space for his own shot. he's had one or two opportunites but tried the cross instead (which have been effective but his teammates haven't finished at the other end)

 

It looked like an excellent cross to Havertz but he somehow fails to make contact.

Maybe trying to dribble the ball into the net might yield a penalty.....

 

He looks for the cross more when playing with Giroud. Tammy is pretty useless in the air. Also, the box is too crowded with Giroud, Mount, Werner and Havertz for Pulisic to get the type of space he normally gets before shooting on goal.

 

at what point do you sub havertz, put on cho, and move pulisic centrally?

Was Havertz trying to play a dummy to Werner? I mean what other reason could there be for not reaching out to get a touch on the cross?
