City will likely score, will be 1-1, Pulisic to win the game.

Werner continues to lack confidence in an almost comical way in the final third but his runs are unsettling the City defense. And the obvious run for the goal to create space for Havertz.

Not that TT will care what we think.

That said, I think he gets on regardless of the score.

I’m good with this scenario but calling it now: if it stays 1-0 at the 80th minute, CP won’t play today.

Where do you see him not getting on?

If Chelsea have the lead he's coming on to offer a counterattacking threat, even if they score a second goal. If City level he's coming on for fresh legs and to look for a winner. If City go ahead he's coming on because they need a goal. Unless they go up 3-0, I expect Pulisic to come on around 60th-70th minute.

City have a goal in them. This score bodes well for Christian to play and perhaps be the hero.

Even if it is 1-0 he should be on before then.

If protecting the lead he is way more likely to sub Pulisic on than Ziyech or any other attacker. If they need a goal again he is more likely to play than anyone on the bench. So he will play. What the goal did was push back the first non-injury subs from 45-60 to 60-70. The two GKs on the bench are interesting to me as well. Does Tuchel plan to sub on one of them for PKs? If so, that would obviously impact the rest of the subs.

He's their best counter attack player. He'll be on.

Are you telling me TT doesn’t read big soccer at halftime? I find that hard to believe

My guess is he won't be coming on soon if Chelsea is up because they will want to keep pressing....Werner is not finishing his chances but he's pressing better than CP.

and he'll be out the door for good tomorrow, or I would. I hope he is. He's been with Teuchel twice, and never gotten a fair shake either time, needs to move on this summer, period.

Let me add, Teuchel doesn't owe Pulisic squat, he's gotten Chelsea back on track in the EPL, and taken them to the Champions League Final and a 1-0 half time lead, scoreboard for Teuchel, but I don't give a ---- about him or Chelsea, I care about Pulisic and the USMNT, and as such, he needs to GTFO of there, post haste.

I hope CP does get into the game, but ever since TT came to Chelsea he’s won by playing stifling defense first. If score is still 1-0 late, I think TT locks it down defensively so he won’t want/need the counter attacking threat of CP.

Based on history, Pulisic is getting on regardless of the score. Everyone calm down.

If Chelsea land Sancho and a real #9 it will only get worse for CP.

Well, from the eye test, Werner is simply more active in pressing by closing down hard more constantly...CP tend to press to funnel players and closing lane.

Tuchel seem to believe that Werner and Mount are better but maybe there's stats showing otherwize.

But I've never heard anyone say CP work rate and pressing is as good as Werner.

If Chelsea bring in Sancho or another winger I think there's a decent chance they move Pulisic. He'd be in demand, I'm not worried about his career.

If the final score is 1-0, I will thank every diety known that CP scored the sole Chelsea (and critical away goal) in the semifinal first leg. Not only was it a quality goal, but as the Men in Blazers would say, it was a Big Boy goal.

I think Tuchel just noticed Timo is stupidly offside quite a bit.

I think it more than likely would be Ziyech
