So curious as to how the readership think Pugh is developing? is she achieving the level that was anticipated
I think she has fared well and somewhat as expected. She has not blown the world over but has shown glimmers of brilliance. I suspect if she can stay healthy she will continue to develop. She is getting paid
I think her development for the Spirit is more important than her USWNT development. I think she is fine in a lesser role on the NT and if that is all that is expected of her I think she will have a nice career. But I would be leery of her just going from her current role to NT star just by osmosis when other players retire. I think u have to learn to become a star by leading a team and being the go to player. Hopefully that happens on the Spirit so that when she is forced into a more important role on the NT in years to come she is ready.
