There's another Puerto Rican at Syracuse as well called Jose Zuniga. http://www.suathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6721&path=msoccer There's also another player called Melvin Andujar who came out of St. Johns in Condado. I don't know if he grew up in PR or something like that but the info says he was born in La Republica.
if he lived in PR for more than 3 years than he is elgible to play for PR. can you give more info on the team traveling to Mexico?
There is no more information other than what I have already published. I will be waiting for more information, like I said every Tuesday were giving updates about the National Teams in PasionFutbol Colegial. You can listen in on FBTV or preferably on www.radiocolegial.com (6:00-7:00 PM/7:00-8:00 PM alternate weeks)
Are you sure he's in France right now? I saw him a few weeks ago at a match in Quintana where his brother was playing. I'll talk to a friend who knows him well to see what's up.
Well that's what they told me in the tryouts when I asked about him....I'd like to know where he is for sure... so if you can confirm if he is or not... let me know.
Andrés Cabrero joined FK Zemun Beograd in the second division of Serbia. In the upcoming game against FK Banat Zrenjanin he will play once again against the dominicanos Edward Acevedo y Kerby Rodríguez. Both teams were relegated from the first Serbian division in recent year: FK Zemun in 2007 and FK Banat in 2009. Both teams are trying to come back to first division this year. http://www.fss.rs/sr/takmicenja/prvaLigaSrbija.html
Isnt that Cabrero fourth from left to right at the back? http://www.partizan.rs/activepics/2010/vesti/velika/143.jpg
http://www.fedefutbolpr.com/noticias/feb10.html Copa Presidente in Detroit at end of May. National teams of Mexico, Ghana, Poland and PUERTO RICO invited.
Yes, but this link reporting that the teams will be Ghana, Kenya, Malaysia and Puerto Rico http://www.freep.com/article/201002...s18/Silverdome-to-host-World-Cup-bound-Ghana- Dont be too sure if this tournament will really take place.
The women's national team just finished this weekend a round of friendlies in Houston. They played three games, they won 2 and lost 1. Two of the teams were D1 schools and the other was a youth club.
They only played 3 games. They just got together and are starting their preparations for this weeks qualifiers. They are training in el albergue olimpico.
Gold Cup and World Cup qualifiers for women in Puerto Rico started yesterday with St Kitts/Nevis beating Dominica 2-0. Puerto Rico play tomorrow against St.Kitts/Nevis.
Puerto Rico should be able to go through with no problems. 10 of their starters all play or played college ball here in the states and I know 2 or three have been playing semi pro here in the states that should be making the leap to the pro ranks any time now. Players to watch are Ro Hernandez, Jackie Cruz and a center mid and one of the full backs, cant remember their names. Apparently these girls are a class apart from all the other girls.
