Dear BigSoccer Members and Premium Members,

As we hope you all know and appreciate, we are always striving to make BigSoccer the best community it possibly can be. One of the keys to our community is our moderators. They work hard to provide a fun and safe environment for everyone on the site. Of course, we realize things don't always go smoothly and that when some people have praise others have complaints.

We are instituting a new procedure for reviewing our moderators, and that involves soliciting feedback from you. This is a serious excercise and we ask you to only participate if you take it seriously. We are asking you to post your praise and criticism, and suggestions, regarding the moderation of THIS PARTICULAR FORUM in this thread. Personal attacks will be binned (the mods have our approval to do this) and we are only looking for thoughtful criticisms or compliments. Though we'd prefer you didn't, if you are uncomfortable posting in public, please send EMAIL to help@bigsoccer.com.

    Thank you for your participation.

    Huss and JonnyQuest

I really wish this forum was strictly moderated like we were told it would be.

As it is, I can name you at least two members with obvious sockpuppets running around (one of them in an obvious attempt to circumvent a yellow card). And now we have a thread with an inflammatory title which could easily turn into an ugly flame war and no action has been taken against it - be it renaming, closing or moving the thread.

How many warnings do you get before a yellow/red anyway?

I wouldn't mind seeing a little less conversation, a little more action.

Creating another login name is a clear violation of TOS of bigsoccer. Some people might have not taken it seriously. Now that Korean football has made it clear, they should be aware how serious it is.

I think a punishment is due for those making sock-puppets. They already agreed to the TOS upon becomming a member...

although super hamatachi is still active i already asked huss to red card him and delete all my past accounts. but huss just hasn't done anything yet. other than me, leelo seems to be the only one with sockpuppet but there could be more. We just don't notice them since their name is completely different. leelo and k_f is also 2 different name but the quality of posts can easily tell us they are identical.

Oh, I wasn't talking about you Hama. You just created a new one for your Premium Membership so it isn't really a sockpuppet.

The other one I was thinking of was the one who flipped his name around from xxxxyyyy to yyyyxxxx.

There is something wrong here! The mods said that junjun got a sockpuppet because he forgot his password. But junjun himself admitted that the mods were only sticking up for him because he's korean and that they made up the story. Mods card junjun now!

I did not say the reason he created a sockpuppet was because he forgot his password for his original handle name.

I said in a reply to kc123, that we should first know the reason why he created a sockpuppet before we remove his original handle name. Because he might have forgotten his password and that's why he had to come up with another handle name.

I sent PM to junjunforever and asked him about the reason, but he hasn't replied me back. That's why I can't take action on it.

I have discussed this sockppuppet thing with junjun many times already. Every time he come up with different reasons. There is definitely something wrong with it. So you can't take action because he hasn't replied you. Are you going to let it go if he never replies you? How long has it been since you noticed that he has created a sockpuppet? It has been like a month already. Use sockpuppet is clear violation of the rule, you got to do something.

As a moderator, I have to assume a cautious attitude before I take any action. That's why I need to know the reason. Since, junjunforever seems not want to talk to me, maybe you can help me out.

Find the quote he said and send it to me by PM.
