One of the keys to our community is our moderators. They work hard to provide a fun and safe environment for everyone on the site. Of course, we realize things don't always go smoothly and that when some people have praise others have complaints. We are instituting a new procedure for reviewing our moderators, and that involves soliciting feedback from you. This is a serious excercise and we ask you to only participate if you take it seriously. We are asking you to post your praise and criticism, and suggestions, regarding the moderation of THIS PARTICULAR FORUM in this thread. Personal attacks will be binned (the mods have our approval to do this) and we are only looking for thoughtful criticisms or compliments. Some thoughts... So far, Tim has done a very good job in moderating this board. The only time he had to take action was when a certain Quakes poster (initials RB) who shall remain nameless started to troll here. I would link that thread, but that was lost in the purge. Other than that, he has been running the board as smoothly as possible. He hasn't been too strict but that's because there hasn't been much trouble. I don't know Crazy Chastain enough but since the boards require at least 2 moderators regardless of the traffic, this one should be given a chance as much as possible and so far so good though really there is hardly any commotion. If and when such a situation arises a lot of people here expect them as moderators to act accordingly and take appropriate action. Hopefully, that won't happen.
