Ouch. That smarts. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsTAUs_h_uY"]YouTube- Willie Nelson - Turn Out The Lights[/ame] Yeah... so again, I'm thinking large-scale changes are in order after the season. Clean house, Jon Kraft. Everyone should go.
Let's see: 1. Congratulations Revs, you just let Justin Bieber score a goal against you. What? That was Jack McInerney? If you say so. Is he in "Camp Rock" or something? 2. The last goal was just some sorry defending all the way around. Most other non-Chris Tierney players shut down Le Toux on that play, but Tierney couldn't get in position to knock the ball out of the box. 3. This is actually good news. The Revs need to chasing down the best possible draft pick they can get.
I turned the tv off in disgust when PU leveled it. I almost punched the computer when I saw the final score.
These pics and videos are way more fun and probably more productive than actually reviewing that garbage.
Agreed. I really want that Superliga win (for the players' wallets if nothing else, they've been working hard this season they just don't have many talented options) ... but after that, jeez, the best thing that could happen to this team would be to lose every single game.
#3 Overall Draft Pick Fever... CATCH IT!!! Oh, and this: You wanna sit around a campfire and sing Kumbaya? On second thought, maybe I've got this all wrong... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlBiLNN1NhQ"]YouTube- Always Look On The Bright Side of Life[/ame]
Are there people on this board in communication with Brad Feldman? Please let him know his shtickt with the officiating has become really tiresome. Most of the game commentary is about the refs. Brad, the team is not good. That's why they are losing. The red on Gibbs was well-deserved. And Osei should have seen yellow on his kick of Le Toux. Anyway, this was a mercy killing. Stop the bs about if we win x number of games, we can "make the playoffs."
Hmmm, don't want to point out that Coudet embellished the foul by Gibbs, but since it happened directly in front of me, I do want to point out that Coudet started to scream that he was injured a full two second prior to Gibbs reaching him.
+1, the only way the broadcast could get any more freakin' tiresome is if Feldman was joined by rkupp & the Revs doodguybro fanboy brigade in the broadcast booth.
I'm exceptionally p!ssed off right now because the team I root for just lost, but are you really saying that it's a good thing that we lost?
I look at it this way... each loss from this point on means we're one step closer to the organization making the kind of off-season changes we really need. Maybe if we miss the playoffs, someone in the organization realizes that it's no longer a good idea to keep putting Band-Aids on that giant gash near the carotid artery.
Mike, I sort of understand that point of view, but do you really think that next year we don't hear that the team "made the playoffs for 7 of the last 8 years?"
Best Shalrie has played in a while. The complaining about the refs does get tiresome, but credit to Heaps for acknowledging the card was legit. I couldn't make the match tonight and watched the Revs match concurrent with the Red Bulls game. There are definitely levels of competence in this league and New York is miles above both of these teams. That said, the Revs did some nice things in the first half. Coudet does look like a nice mid-season addition as a central midfielder.
I actually had an email exchange with him on this topic last week after he couldn't stop talking about the "offside call". He seemed apologetic when he realized his mistake but I guess he hasn't learned. Email him at revstv@revolutionsoccer.net and I bet he'll respond.
It was not. Thank you. Taking out your frustration on your fellow Rev fans is a little obnoxious. The Revs aren't that good - check. We aren't going to make the play-offs - check. So what is different after the game than it was before the game? You can hate Feldman all you want, but to me he went out of his way to avoid making the obvious point that we lost, because the ref had us playing with 10 men for 50 minutes. The game wasn't fun, but it changed nothing. Anyone wanting to clean house should remember that that would make us Philadelphia without high draft picks. Ugh.
Watching the replay after I got home I think it was a yellow but I've seen much worse red card calls. You know the team is bad when Khano is the only player subbed in.
Too bad we couldn't start up at the TOP, with the Savvvy business people..!! Oh well...as Taylor Twellman said in a Tweet a couple of weeks ago. Have trust in Kraft!! oh brother..!! I'm just beginning to kinda feel what the Man U fans are feeling...kinda! They've at least got history on their side...
