You're discounting the fact that both Makelele and Giuly would probably have input in the decision and would probably meet with him beforehand to make sure he's a good fit. If he's got the right attitude, I think it would work out very well. He's never lost his skill of scoring, his issues have been Health and Fitness and We all know LeGuen won't have him long if he's out of shape and or a lousy attitude. I'd like to think that with all he's gone through and his desire to play - he doesn't need the money, I hope - that he'd be minimal drama but then again he would be in Paris and he loves the ladies, even if their ladymen .

Well, it's just an interview for him to get some attention at the moment.

When it's all said and done we'd only be a 1 year springboard for him to show bigger clubs he's back to form. Which would be fine with me, but I worry about his lasting effect on young players. If they pick up his zest for life we could be looking at a lot of problems in the future.

I dont think he sees PSG as a springboard. At age 32 its hard to 'springboard' anywhere.

I hadn't realized he'd gotten that old. I guess I missed a few years in there. For some reason I was thinking he was still 29.

Yeah he turns 32 in a couple of days. Due to his age and injuries no one is gonna give him the type of wages he was earning at Milan. Thats why I'd think PSG has a shot because he wouldnt be commanding wages as astronomical as they used to be.

How do you guys feel about Ronaldo coming ? PSG have already made contact with him and his agent. He wants to come to Paris first and foremost. Le Guen not wanting him isnt a problem because he will get overrided by the president if he wants him and the manager doesnt. Remember Le Guen wanted Briand not Kezman. Kezman has been a failure so far and Ronaldo cant be any worse.

seriously, as a marketing ploy, it will massacre all jersey sales, because a PSG jersey to the name of Ronaldo, whether it's 1997, 2002 or 2008, it's still a legend of football. So I'm sure Paris can pay his salary just with all the sales he'll make. He'll upgrade the image of the club, the same way Makelele and Giuly have done this summer.
Now, it all comes down to what he does on the pitch. Ronaldo, even fat or bad legs, still can score goals in L1. Will PLG want to play him? how? We know he doesn't like changing his teams just because of a player, it's not because you are named Pauleta or Kezman that you are assured to play.... except if you are Clement, his secret son

So to Ronaldo, I don't think he'll be a sure success, but I'll still get him in the team. After all, we are getting a little thin up front.

PSG have no money. They wont be signing Ronaldo or anyone of a similar pedigree.

We didn't get Thuram, but if Gallas come it could be really good for the team, expecialy the youngsters. Gallas, Maka, Giuly and Rothen could be a really dangerous quartet, and with Hoarau on top

If we could get Gallas, I wouldn't have an issue with him. However, talk of Peter Luccin wanting to return is BullS. .... Putain Luccin!!!! I definitely remember how he was quoted in L''Equipe that he wished PSG would get relegated last season and now he has a change of heart? Putain Luccin.

What about Villeneuve's comments saying that PSG are worth more than Manchester City and that they can attract players like Eto'o, Villa, and Anelka. Crazy stuff to say but I like his attitude.

Juventus Keen On PSG Star Sakho - Reports


The young French defender has caught the eye in Turin and he could arrive in the summer...


Juventus have added Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho to their transfer hit-list as they plan a summer move for the teenage defender, who was made the youngest captain in the French club's history last season.
Claudio Ranieri is aware that he needs to strengthen his defence this term after some shaky performances at the back, and Sakho is the latest name to be linked with the Old Lady.
According to French sports daily L'Equipe, Juve are keen on the PSG star, who turns 19 in February. The Italians have always stated their penchant for youth and the Paris-born stopper could be a summer arrival in Turin.
Sakho is strong, powerful and his height makes him a fearsome presence in the box. The centre-back, who is of Senegalese descent, has progressed through the youth teams in the French capital and is widely regarded as one of Europe's hottest properties.
Securing Sakho's signature will not be easy for the Old Lady as Arsenal are also reported to be interested in the player. In addition, the defender has over a year to run on his current deal and the latest reports from France suggest PSG are looking to offer him new terms.
Nevertheless, the Bianconeri are monitoring the situation with a view to make their move in the summer.

It's about time for Kezman to retire. His behavior today was just pathetic (trowning away PSG jersey when he was subbed); not to mention that his performances are pathetic as well. I would have scored the chance he missed today. He is not good enough to play in Europe still. He's insulting the fans intelligence when he's saying that he trown away the jersey because he was upset because of his own performance, he did that because he was jeered by the crowd.

He did apologize for that. Also I think Le Guen's not treating him fairly by refusing to play him in league matches.
