Re: PSG Transfer Thread The mercato outcomes were clearly not enough; we lack imagination AND skill...you'vegot to have one or the other in abundance, or both in fairly decent measure, to compete. We lack both. Can a move be made before the end of the window?
Re: PSG Transfer Thread How in the world can Pauleta be on the bench? Unless he is injuried, I say play him! Put petty differences aside for the glory of the club. OR send him packing.
Re: PSG Transfer Thread without an absolutely dangerous striker on the ascendancy, you cannot stretch/challenge defenses, thus allowing our type of midfielders the space to do their thing and taking pressure off of our dubious back line. We have failed in bringing that person in; at this point, I have no idea who that would be.
Re: PSG Transfer Thread So why on Earth didn't PSG go after Eidur or Martins or insert any striker? At least show the supporters you are TRYING to compete,
Re: PSG Transfer Thread If we hadn't signed Camara we would have only had 2 centre-half; Yepes and Bourillon. So we needed to sign another one in case one got injured like Yepes last year. However there's no reason we need to spend 6mill, and it was crazy to spend 6mill on Camara!
Re: PSG Transfer Thread Well Press has Pauleta at Benfica and Yepes looks set to leave with him. Pauleta's Agent was in Portugal at Benfica's Training Camp. Benfica are set to offer you guys a playertrade
Re: PSG Transfer Thread sammy brings balm to my heart in this end of transfer season... it puts the boumsong rumors in perspective! things could be MUCH worse!
Re: PSG Transfer Thread PSG are interested in Legia Warsaws Roger Guerreiro, reported on the players website.
Re: PSG Transfer Thread Ceará close to the capital. Ceara (Marcos Venâncio de Albuquerque) Brazilian right defender of Internacional Porto Alegre, 27 years old and tracked down by Alain Roche, gets ready to sign a contract of three years in PSG, for two million euro. The transfer is " in a very good way ", said Alain Cayzac.
Re: PSG Transfer Thread does anyone know anything about this guy? we've also loaned out mabiala to portsmouth, which should be good (but might tempt him away from france), and mulumbu to amiens (L2).
Re: PSG Transfer Thread I couldn't find anything about him on google. Also I'm surprised we've let mulumbu go for the season, hopefully he comes back a better player after some first team football. p.s nice to see you back ilv
Re: PSG Transfer Thread thanks, the first couple weeks of the semester are happening right now though, and it's been real hectic so I think i'm only going to be dropping in sporadically. awesome matchtreads btw! as for mulumbu, i think it was a good decision to let him get some more experience. I'd question the level of the club he's been loaned to, but maybe PLG is thinking first-team football is more crucial than the level (that assumes Youssuf even gets a starting position!). We're pretty crowded in midfield, and hopefully the new RB will prove himself very soon. Hence, the lack of space for Mulumbu. Mendy as a bench-warmer should be fine - it's when he's a starter that people should get anxious!
