I will be in Paris from 13-17 May, and am trying to get two tickets (seated together) for the match. I'm tracking Ebay.fr already; any local or online ticket services, regardless of the markup? I need these tickets. It will be my son's first PSG match, and what a match it will be!!! Help me out!!!
Try at fnac.com or .fr, or Virgin. Either that or try directly to the Parc des Princes ticket service. But for this one i can't tell you the phone number. Maybe on PSG website.
Man, I hope you can get to this one. This was the match I had planned on attending about 6 months back and it's drving me nutty that I can't make the trip. Call Boutique Roosevelt. It's a long shot but who knows, never hurts to ask. A+, Fonsos
Good luck Mel, my cousin in Paris couldn't even get tickets. This wont help much, but you should try scalpers, if you're willing to pay the price, there will be tickets available to you.
Got some! Secteur Presidentielle, Red Section (D). Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes, life is ********ing sweet.
That's great, Mel, you lucky bastage! I'm happy for you. Out of curiousity, how did you manage to get them? Through Psg's tickets sales office?
I was dealing with a guy on eBay.fr. Yes, I know. You can never tell. but when I read his feedback, and then he sent me his banking details, and my boy at Merill Lynch tacked the account, and then when he was willing to do PayPal, and then when he sent me his family geocities website, I figured that it would have cost him more to forge all that shite then to just have legit tickets to sell, and the fact that (after my best man at ML was able to give me facts about his account that the guy had not given me) he didn't bolt when I told him stuff about his bank account that he had not told me, meant that I wanted to take the chance...There's a clear paper trail for me to pursue here if I did get scammed (which is always the first thought of my wife and I when dealing online), and I made it clear to this guy that I was willing to use every means, fair and unfair, to visit retribution upon him should my son not get satisfaction. So, we'll see. But as I missed out on the one set of tickets he was initially selling (at a much cheaper price mind you but much higher up as well), and e-mailed the winner of those tickets to see how they (she, actually) felt about this guy, and discovered that she felt very comfortable (which could ALSO be a scam, but...), I felt more comfortable. I hear ya - I'm gonna wait and see. In fact, given the impossibility of finding anything, and the fear I have for my son and I of waiting, like, until the day of match to try and get something out in fron of the stadium or something, and not being able to get anything, I was willing, after all of the above (particularly after the bank account check by someone I CAN trust), to take the chance. That being said, I am STILL, you know, gonna follow-up with you guys, and put up on this board some detailed pics of the tickets, when/if they show up here, and get some feedback on their authenticity, etc. IF the tickets do get here, that's probably all I'll be able to do until I get to Paris; then, on day one, I'll swing over with them to the stadium, or the Boutique on the Champs, and confirm their authenticity. But yeah, I was thinking possible scam the entire time, and tried to balance my clear need for the tickets with some rigourous checking, to the extent I could. I feel pretty good about it though. Now, we'll see, but I think we're in there like swimwear...
Awesome, dealing with ebay and paypal is the way to go, as you said, prevention or tracking is easy unlike with shaddy websites that pop-up for a week. (Althought I must say that in case of non-delivery or fraud, paypal will not help you but will give you a false sense of security, you' d have to deal directly with your CC).
hey, nothing like violating a couple of banking secrecy laws to get some soccer tickets! solid job. Here's to hoping that no one at my bank has a friend looking to buy some metrostars tickets...
Uh, no. Based upon what the guy told me, my best man was able to follow-up, and tell me even more (legally) than the guy told us. I just wanted him to know that I could pull upon mad resources to hunt him down financially if need be. A bit of a bluff, but with ebay, paypal, and him giving us legit bank info, I felt comfortable. He says they are in the post. We'll see soon enough!!! Everybody keep their fingers crossed...wait, unless that's bad luck where you come from. In that case, do your sociocultural equivalent!!
Follow-up...are these authentic? How can I tell? They feel authentic, but is there some telltale sign or set of signs, or a number with which I can CALL PSG, or TicketClic, and confirm that they were indeed issued by them?
I just e-mailed Omniticket (TICKETCLIC) in Paris to see if they can help with confirming these tickets in some way before the 13th, when I am in Paris and can bringthem by, but that's kinda late to secure other tickets... We'll see...
Yeh that would only leave you the possibility of getting one on the black market, somehow around the stadium.. Anyway, I envy you. Great match.
SO...I clearly enjoyed Paris. Then I went to try and get into Iraq, and ended up involved in link #1, below... So all the air was - rightly - taken out of my PSG victory balloon over the course of the following two weeks... But, at that time, sitting where we were sitting, and getting there at the beginning of the 2nd minute, and Pauleta scoring inthe 6th minute, and having the crowd lift my son up, and celebrate him being four and having his maillot domicile, and having someone GIVE us their "Kop du Boulogne" Bulldog scarf after the match... Incredible.
