PSG claim Uruguay pair, Penarol object PARIS, July 20 (Reuters) - Paris St Germain said on Wednesday they have signed Uruguay internationals Carlos Bueno and Cristian Rodriguez on four-year deals but their last club Penarol claim the pair still belong to them. Montevideo-based Penarol have been at loggerheads with the players over a contractual dispute since last March. "We consider them as free agents. We are confident they are," said a spokesman for the French Ligue 1 club. But Penarol president Jose Pedro Damiani told the club's official website: "They say they are going to play for Paris St Germain but their federative rights still belong to Penarol". "We don't have to explain anything else, we are going to wait to see what happens." He later added in a radio interview: "I sent them (Paris St Germain) a fax saying that if the players train and get injured, there will be a problem." Forward Bueno and Rodriguez, a left-sided midfielder nicknamed the Onion, have not played for the club since last March after the two sides fell out over a pay dispute. Bueno, 25, has featured 15 times for Uruguay, including at last year's Copa America in Peru, scoring nine goals. Rodriguez, 19, has played eight internationals and was also in the Copa America squad. Both players were raised at Penarol, who are Uruguay's most popular club. http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news;_y...wN0aA--?slug=reu-bueno&prov=reuters&type=lgns
