    Hit the crossbar :(

I really hope we don't mess up this opportunity in typical PSG style.

Could have won by more, but such an important three points regardless.

I really agree but there needs to be a way to keep Di Maria on the pitch with him. Hopefully that gets figured out by Valentines Day (UCL).

I hate that Di Maria can't adjust to playing the right wing and just sucks centrally. Even though Di Maria assisted Draxler's debut goal for PSG.

Squad for CDL tomorrow (Tues.) live on beIN Connect, delayed until evening on regular broadcast beIN:

    http://www.psg.fr/en/News/003001/Article/78727/Le-groupe-parisien

    Squad:
    AREOLA Alphonse
    BEN ARFA Hatem
    CAVANI Edinson
    DI MARIA Angel
    GEORGEN Alec
    KIMPEMBE Presnel
    KURZAWA Layvin
    LO CELSO Giovani
    LUCAS
    MARQUINHOS
    MATUIDI Blaise
    MAXWELL
    MEUNIER Thomas
    NKUNKU Christopher
    RABIOT Adrien
    THIAGO SILVA
    TRAPP Kevin
    VERRATTI Marco

    Absentees:
    AUGUSTIN Jean-Kévin (treatment)
    AURIER Serge (international duty)
    CALLEGARI Lorenzo (reserves)
    DESCAMPS Rémy (reserves)
    DRAXLER Julian (treatment)
    JESE (treatment)
    KRYCHOWIAK Grzegorz (training)
    ONGENDA Hervin (reserves)
    PASTORE Javier (training)
    THIAGO MOTTA (suspended)

If Areola gets the cup match does it mean that Trapp has won back #1? Apparently Draxler's injury is lingering although he walked off the pitch on his own? With that list of players not in the squad there is still quality available but not 11 guys used to playing together.

Seriously not surplus to needs, as above Emory needs to find a way to keep him on with Draxler.

Matoody (announcer's version) imitating Cavani with a sure goal miss and then Cavani with an original -- just don't miss those when they are the only chance against Barca?

^ seriously. Those misses were a sure sign that there would be an equalizer. We have to stop the self-sabotage.

I have a little delay but yes on the entry pass but not the assist, should have made it 1 - 2 instead of 1 - 1 though.

Anybody else kinda sorta nervous about tomorrow? A draw isn't going to cut it, going to need them three points. Game of the season imo.

    What does "(training)" mean?

Aurier fresh from his disappointing AFCON campaign. I think Lo Celso isn't going to feature much due to his necessary acclimation to the French game. Grzegorz sucks. Jese sucks. Pastore is hurt? unfit?

Good to see Guedes immediately available. Sucks that Marco is out, he's really the glue that keeps this squad together. Wonder how the team will look tomorrow in his absence against a team that presses and runs riot in midfield.

I think it usually means back in training after an injury as in they should be available soon but just not yet.

PSG-Monaco kinda dull to be honest. Both teams seem content with a draw.

    Good first half.

Getting Draxler was an excellent idea.

Both of those were very positive, almost ... almost ... could make one forget the previous (Monaco) match. If they could find consistent good form this year instead of the erratic hot - cold - hot again they still may be able to salvage a lot from this season.
Except for UCL results "salvage" is a word that hasn't applied to anything they've done in the previous few years. The new coach is no longer 'new' but line-ups probably need to get more consistent for results to do the same.
The ghost of Ibra is no longer an excuse either, still too many great chances with the players we have that are blocked, saved, or just miss ... and back to the Monaco match our defense is usually quite good but giving one up late like that really hurts and maybe says something about mental state/focus.
