We needed someone who has won something in Europe! (Granted its not the CL, but he didn't have a CL worthy team)
It is at 4:00 Central Daylight Time, which should be 2:00 local time in Eugene, Oregon. http://www.livesoccertv.com/match/1952617/internazionale-vs-psg/ http://www.psg.fr/en/News/101001/Breaking-News/76260/Programme-de-l-ICC-2016

Bad news to me, French and EU companies should be sponsoring and 'riding along' with the growth of the brand over here, they should not be 'Americanizing' the brand. Same for that Chevrolet logo on Manchester United shirts (American owners there though).
PSG's 'brand' in the USA is weaker compared to the biggest clubs in the world so anything to 'strengthen' the brand in the US is a good thing imo.
I'm actually surprised at how many people I see walking around with PSG jerseys in New York. You dont have to do much to "grow the brand" when you have enough money to buy the most expensive and well known players in the world. I doubt too many Americans are going to jump on the bandwagon because Budweiser is sponsoring them. Maybe if it was American Football or something. Most american soccer fans dont drink Bud.
Most people with functional taste 'Buds' don't either. ;>) They also have tried some (Trump-ish?) bullsh!t of re-branding it as "America" this summer -- get hammered on bad tasting xenophobia!
I had assumed the name change to America was somehow in anticipation of possible problems to market the Budweiser name in Europe and eventually NA because there is a real Budweiser made in the Czech Republic. this blows my theory into flinders. but if there is any xenophobia there it's bizarre because AB InBev is a Brazilian-Belgian company.
They are trying to screw you guys. There's an article in monday morning's Le Parisien. http://www.foot01.com/ligue1/ligue-1-la-lfp-prete-a-appliquer-le-plan-aulas-contre-le-psg,222018
In Chicago home of U.S.S.F. (National Federation) at a flagship Nike store on Michigan Avenue, they had a few USA jerseys and bigs racks of two club teams Barca & PSG. Arriving as a world brand?
That was their plan from day 1 to be a 'world brand.' They are doing ok but they will never catch up the clubs the plastic fans support. I suspect Marseille will try to promote globally when the new ownership is in place.
More b.S. from beIN, it is not La Liga that is preventing the live broadcast tomorrow, this time it is track and field -- I'll be at work anyway but it still seems it should be live PSG & delayed track and field -- do a lot of people bet on that sport or something?
https://www.thelocal.fr/20160926/psg-player-serge-aurier-sentenced-to-two-months-in-jail PSG's Serge Aurier sentenced to jail for attack on policeman Anyone want to ask his opinion about it on social media? Two months actually seems light for an assault on a police officer -- not supposed to end up serving any of it with 'conversion' to a fine. Emery has a tough decision in my mind unless the league steps in with a ban? Not a good way to jack up transfer value at any rate.
I've complained about missed opportunities but the guy is coming good now: http://www.livesoccertv.com/news/20...nd-cavanis-form-and-uruguays-wcq-resurgence/" "Cavani is the top goal scorer in: Ligue 1 (8), UCL (3), South American Qualifiers (5)"
Nasser is a massive burden for PSG competitiveness as shown by Letang being named sporting director. You would think the previous transfer window or extending Blanc before the advanced stage of the CL would teach him a lesson but nah...
His strike rate has been much improved lately, he seems to have cast out (most of) his 'make-you-miss' demons. He had two of Uruguay's three yesterday and both of them were shots he would have been expected to miss short weeks ago.
