I thought we could have a separate thread for miscellaneous news and overall discussion instead of putting random things in the match thread. Anyway, here's a recent interview with Nasser on psg.fr: I don't know about you, but I love my "sugardaddy." If any non French speakers need a translation, feel free to ask!
http://canal-supporters.com/2014/09/david-luiz-se-blesse-au-genou-avec-le-bresil/ This is really, really not good. Hopefully it won't be that bad once it's examined, but either way, this is worrisome. I hope we are not dumb enough to rush Thiago Silva back into action before he's fully fit because of this setback with David Luiz.
http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Aurier-est-toujours-en-afrique/498197 It's unbelievable to have this many defenders out at the same time. Playing Rennes is going to be a challenge with all these injuries we currently have. Not to mention, we're playing our first CL game at Ajax in less than a week and we really can't afford to not be at full strength.
I'm guessing Camara will play with Marquinhos. So this is what I'm expecting: VDW - Camara - Marquinhos - Maxwell
whats with celebreties going to psg games.. just saw lenny kravtiz in the stands , sarkozy seems to have nothing else to do since he left office .... is psg inviting these ppl or are they soccer fans
Sarko is actually a huge PSG fan. But yeah, I did notice Lenny Kravitz too. I have no idea what he was doing there. As for Beyonce/Jay Z, they were either invited by Beckham, wanted attention, or both. I do know that Carl Lewis was invited by Nasser for the kick off.
PES on the left, Fifa on the right. In PES case, it looks exactly like Ibra. Verratti better not look like Jallet this time, Konami.
I'm getting more and more worried that Ibra won't be available to play against OM. His return keeps getting pushed further and further. The media seems to have some sources reporting he will be ready and others saying he won't be.
http://www.fifa.com/ballon-dor/puskas-award/index.html Guys, please vote for Zlatan for the Puskas award for his unforgettable goal against Bastia last season. It's unfortunate that he won't get as many votes as he deserves because it was scored in one of the less popular leagues, whereas some people will get tons of votes for goals not even half as impressive just because they have been seen by more people.
Sinon… » http://www.allpaname.fr/reaction/seydoux-une-capitale-comme-paris-devrait-avoir-plu/news-27583.html
Bernard Taipe: "Laurent Blanc ? Je suis sûr que c’est un très grand entraineur. J’en suis certain. Un jour vous découvrirez le vrai talent de Laurent Blanc lorsqu’il sera dans un grand club étranger."
Haha, Blanco is not going to get offers from the top foreign teams anyway. Who would be impressed with what he's done with the team he's been given?
And now Ibra might get sanctioned for his comments after the match: http://m.lequipe.fr/Football/Actual.../forum.psg.fr/showthread.php¤t§366699$page§4& I guess there's somet wrong with speaking the truth when you're upset? ********ing ridiculous. Ibra is totally right about the ref and yet to distract people from the ref's mistake, the press will vilify Zlatan. Things never change after all.
It's funny to me that barely anyone talks about what Payet said. To me, both him and Ibra were right, but I guess it's easier for us to pretend like they're being outrageous. It's funny how as dumb as it was for those two players to speak their minds in those particular moments, the fact of the matter is that neither of them would have said anything if the refs in our league were even slightly more competent. It's so much easier to condemn others than to look at our own actions (as in the LFP) and how they contributed to these specific events. Aulas couldn't have imagined a better scenario than this if he tried.
