According to Laurent Blanc, the decision will be made tomorrow to know if Cavani will be part of the group for the game against Montpellier.

This first half is just the extension of what we have been witnessing since the the beginning of pre-season friendlies with Laurent Blanc and his crappy tactic of having Lucas, Lavezzi, Pastore and Ibra in the center and only counting on the left and right back to fill the wings, with no combination between Maxwell, Matuidi and Pastore on the left or Verratti, Jallet and Lucas on the right side. It doesn't work because Montpellier is compact, defend well and with everybody in the center it's easier to defend for Montpellier, we aren't stretching their defense at all. On top of that, the only real offensive player capable of playing on the wings, whose real position is the left side was Nene and PSG found nothing better to do than to offload him (I said it a million of times already ).


Anyway, when will Deschamps pick Cabella ? In particular when I see all the crappy players he picked for the game against Belgium.

It's been confirmed by Lucas that the tactic of the first half with all the players in the center was desired by Blanc. I was convinced that it was the desire of Banc since with Ancelotti it was the same 4-4-2 on the paper but not at all on the pitch with Pastore who used to stick to the line. Everybody in the center and in particular against a compact team, no combinations with the left or right back since there is nobody to combine with as they are in the center, the whole wings for the left and right back : Laurent Blanc is a genius, he's revolutionating football with his tactic

I hope that he'll open his eyes for the next match, his tactic was the same during the friendlies and it was at least as bad as what we have seen against Montpellier. Perhaps, the talent alone won't be always enough to win the games.
