Can't wait, though since I am in the US will have to wait for it's release, but by then I will be off to Vegas for a week due to work (I just got back from Dallas).

Let's keep this thread going, other than an online game or two with FIFA 08 I haven't gotten into the online playing thing too much!

Doesn't look like him much. Maybe it's the way his facial expression is. I don't get FIFA's cartoon-like animation style.

Actually, the more I look at it, the more it looks like him. Still, PES 2010 will be > FIFA 10. ;)

I've always been more of a PES fan, but the last few years have gotten worse rather than better. I'm not holding my breath.

Nice honor for Lamps to be featured alongside some major soccer legends. :D

Pro Ev 2-5 > FIFA equivalents.
Pro Ev 6 about equal with its FIFA.

    FIFA 09 >>>>>>>> Pro Ev 2009

Re: Supah Frank Lampard Appreciation Thread

Pro Evo 6 aka Winning Eleven 2007 was much better than FIFA 07.

As for the latest iterations, while I admit FIFA 09 was the most admirable effort EA has put out, PES 2009 still manages to be more fun, unpredictable, and has a much more exciting final third. No two goals are ever the same. Can't say the same about FIFA where the only way you can score is on the break away with a finesse shot.

FIFA still need to fix the keepers. After you have played the game enough you know from where you can score and from where they will save it no matter how impossible it should be. I agree with Mack that PES still holds the edge on offering the free form beauty that real football presents, while FIFA is still too foosball like with the same patterns being played out ad nauseam.

Re: Supah Frank Lampard Appreciation Thread

    Latest PES sucked. Sorry.

My friend would play as Cameroon and dribble up the left side with one player (can't remember) and shoot before the goal was on the screen and he would score almost every single time. Keeper wouldn't even move. Crap like that shouldn't happen in modern games. The last two years it has been way too easy to score.

Yeah, minor glitches are present. Even with FIFA and their goals from center.
