I just read on a sporting goods newsletter that MLS is allowing Stahls and Xara to use MLS team logos with no license fee for youth recreational T-shirts and jerseys. If you are involved in a youth soccer league, get this information to the league director.

MLS needs to get out more PR about this in the upcoming months, especially considering MLB's nasty history of going after PeeWee T-ball teams using unauthorized MLB team names...

    That is a great move.

Hopefully teams are aware of this development and will be proactive about letting local leagues know of this opportunity, and Xara and Stahls do a little co-branding with teams.

A win-win for all parties involved if they work well together

Well, Xara is not that hard to understand as it is apparently an official partner of the MLSCamps. (I didn't know that until I did a search).
