THis may be corny but i just have to ask, if someone knows where i can get or get made a black dc united jersey with #11 Adu on the back let me know, i am also willing to trade or buy off someone who gets one for me thanks ty
http://www.mlsgear.com/search_results.asp?keyword=MLSWAS You can get it personalized with any name and number you want. Many things are possible on MLSgear.com I realize that it now says "image coming soon" but if you let them know you want a 2002 (old) jersey cusomized I doubt there will be any wait. Because the jersey isn't supposed to change from last season, it should be the same jersey. I cannot be sure of that, but it is most likley correct. -Tron
No, I don't think so. While the EPL has the Barclaycard logo on it's numbers, MLS does not do that--and frankly I'm glad. But the jersey should have an MLS shoulder patch, which is where MLS puts its logo on the jerseys. As for the stars, well frankly I'm not sure. "Most" do not. I'm told that any "replica" jersey will not have stars, but that some "authentic" ones do. I do know that there is some tailoring shop in the DC metro area that will add the stars for you for only $5 just to support DC United. But I'm not sure which one it is. The "story" a while back was that the reason that DC United got the stars on their new (at the time) black jerseys was because they changed the logo to encorporate the stars. But, the replica jerseys did not have the stars, so I do not know. But I do know that there are some posters here that do have stars on their jerseys. Hopefully one will post where they got it for you. -Tron
The national team programs, including the youth teams, are moving to Carson, CA this year. Adu's mom works for Home Depot now, also. Maybe you should make that #11 Adu an LA Galaxy jersey!
It's threats like this that will make Mrs. Adu put both boys in piano lessons only for the next decade.
