Tomas Angel anotó dos goles e hizo una asistencia ayer en la Superliga contra Pereira, ambos goles excelentes. Jhon Solis (2004) tambien jugó todo el partido.

But he's playing in the Colombian league now for Nacional? As long as he play minutes that's what matters at his age.

nice, rare to see the child of a top player not only develop into a good player but also happen to play in the same position as his father.

anyone know why he wasn't called up to the U-20's? he literally has no competition

Oscar Cortez from the sub 20 got his first start of the season for Millonarios today. Scored a double.

No way he stays in Colombia after WC.

I did see that he started, props to Gamero. If it were anyone else they would have started 45 year old tutunendo valencia instead or something

were they at least ok goals?

The first one was a golazo. Stole it from the Gk outside of the box and whipped it in from an angle.

The 2nd was a tap-in, but he ran end to end to score it.

Nacional's kids are killing it. Angel, Solis, and Nelson Palacio (2001) all started. Angel scored a penalty. Solis played 90 minutes and generally looks like a great modern midfielder. Can can do a bit of everything. Palacio, who would've played for the previous sub 20, continues to impress me from central midfield. Kid pings the ball more accurately than anybody in the league.

And, the man of the match was Brahian Palacios (2002). Subbed in, got taken down for a penalty, and had a totally legitimate golazo disallowed. Played RW and will definitely get more minutes after this performance.

Also, I have no idea how Nelson Deossa got no shot at Estudiantes or Junior. Dude is a beast and can play practically anywhere.

    Kidcaballero is no more alas...

BUT, here's the disallowed gol. Set up by a great play form Solis.

Brahian Palacios scored a golazo today. Deossa had a solid one, too. Really hope Nacional can make a run in the Libertadores this year. The exposure will do wonders for their marketability.

Has lots of good potential and confidence which can go a long way.
As I said in the Sub20 thread I think his best chance is RW under Lorenzo this cycle. How soon this cycle? Only the manager knows but it could be sooner rather than later if injuries and bad form continue.

Is that Oscar Perea kid good? @Baal88 dudes 17 already in the starting 11. I hope this becomes the normal thing , give younger kids the chance to debut and gain experience in Colombia .

He is not a regular starter; he doesn't even play in all matches as a sub. He gets a few minutes here and there from Autuori, and from what I've seen, he has potential. He still lacks in his finishing, but he has a good dribble, and he is fast. He looks like a promising player but needs more time to improve

So he’s not a asprilla type of promising player is what u saying . Heard good things about solis , but I hope it’s not from bias pro nacional outlets and he’s a real promising player.

In my opinion, we have a very good youth department, second only to Envigado. Solis also showed great potential, he plays much more than Oscar Perea and even started in most games, but just like Perea, he still needs to gain more experience. He is a box-to-box midfielder with good size. Something like Jefferson Lerma. I believe that in a year, he'll be much better.
