This past weekend my friends and I were trying to remember our Prom Songs........its was an amusing walk down memory lane....power drinking, driving down the shore, crappy hotel rooms, 'my date'.......none the less, I couldn't remember which song went to my junior prom and which to my senior but, they were:

    Forever Young - Alphaville
Never Say Goodbye - Bon Jovi

Got to love the 80's.....anyone else remember theirs?

I don't know who sang it, but it was that supremely annoying "I've... had... the time of my life..." duet with a man and a woman. From the mid/late 80s. God, I hate that song.

1989 - Depeche Mode, I think it was called Somebody or Something or maybe Sometimes - I don't really recall. I'd never heard it at the time, and I don't think anyone else had either, except for the comittee of 3 people or whatever that picked it.

It was 'Somebody'...Martin Gore sang it....my girlfriend at the time swore that was going to be our wedding song........Needless to say, that wasn't my wedding song and she isn't my wife......Depeche Mode was great in concert though.

    2000: Sarah Maclachlan's "I Will Remember You" :(.

It sucks, but that's what happens when you let preppy girls take charge of the prom music. We were all pushing for "Stairway to Heaven".

Funnily enough, everyone had left and was changing for the afterprom while the song actually played.

Why are people even having children these days if this is the way they're going to behave?

    Good lord. We're doomed.

Wait, what's a prom song? Like the last song they play or something? See, when you go to a school with 4,000 kids, things tend to get a little disorganized. Just kidding, a lot disorganized. Anyways, all I remember is massive amounts of rap being played.

Two years later my friend was bummed because they had Turbo Lover by Priest as their Prom song.
