I know that Ricardo Clark, MF Furman, just officially signed with DC United through MLS Project 40. Does anyone else know of P-40 signees and their teams??
You know, Ben Olsen was a Project-40 player. I know this because Jack and Ty used to repeat this every 35.2 seconds on any DC United nationally televised match. By the way, Ben Olsen was a Project-40 player...
He may have signed a P-40 deal, but that is with MLS. If DC wants him they will have to draft him, otherwise any other team in the league could draft him if he's available at their pick.
Re: Re: Project - 40 And if DC doesn't get him with their 1st pick, he won't be around for their 2nd.
What with the dozen P-40 signings announced by MLS, I just wanted to check in and note how wrong I was about how many signings there would be. Kudos to those who predicted this would happen. And congratulations to MLS for signing all of these players. The league continues to show it is able and willing to keep yung talent at home.
Re: Re: Project - 40 yeah, i know that he is not officially with a team, sorry if i didn't make that clear. but, clark has been in washington training with united for the past few days. it's possible that he might go first with united.
Matt Foxhall I know that some great players have left college early. One player that wouldn't even have to leave early and could be a great proffessional player would be Furman Univ.'s Matt Foxhall. Ok, i know tath some of you have not heard about this great, incredible player. However, i am here to tell you that he should declare that he is elegible for the draft. Never has there been a player that has meant mroe to his team than did one Matt Foxhall. Heart and soul are two words that come to mind when i think of this great midfielder.Don't be surprised if you see this young talent go very early on Jan 17th. Mark my words.
