The reasoning behind Project 21 was the NAACP's partisanship and its sole allegiance to the Democrat Party, despite the NAACP's charter which calls for a bi-partisan organization... Julian Bonds and Qwasi Mfume have perverted the NAACP so much that many within no longer feel the NAACP can properly represent the group. Those that criticize "Project 21" and similar groups want the blacks "held down" like sheep and have them vote as a block for the democrats... Here's a novel idea: African-Americans are free to vote for whoever they want? You have a problem with that? IntheNet
No - so it's not surprising that, as a block, they vote Democrat. And it's not surprising that Project 21 is - surprise! - a bad faith Republican effort at spinning their abominable record when it comes to black America. Go burn a cross, you racist pig********.
Aren't you the guy who tried to draw a correlation between race and crime in the guns thread? Yeah, I know you're a sockpuppet. Doesn't make it funny. Leave the comedy to the pros like me and Ian.
Just curious.... out of the total history of the NAACP , how many of those years have they had someone of Color in charge? I suggest you do the research and find the answer before laying charges against conservatives.
Don't flatter yourselves rookies! Amazing that so many liberals want to keep the African-American vote locked up! You know people are free today to vote for whoever they want? IntheNet
This appears to be an issue of stupidity more than race. RNC cell phone call: "hey, our one black guy can't make the interview." Almasi: "what should I do?" RNC: "why don't you sit in?" Almasi: "you do realize that I am white?" RNC: "No sh!t" "Well, maybe they won't notice." Here is an idea. "Hello CSPAN, our interviewee has a flat tire and won't make it to the studio. Can we reschedule?"
Wait wait wait, you mean the Republicans are trying to overturn the law that was passed that did not allow African-Americans to even have the Republican candidates on their ballot?
I like that reputation that InTheNet has - "has some shameless behavior in their past" I wonder how many knocks it takes to get that one?
I don't get it- you see nothing wrong with an African American Conservative group with no black people in it?
You merely need to be a conservative posting in a liberal circle-jerk. Guess that makes InTheNet the "pivot" man...
Where do you see that? Yankee...you get neg-repped because you're a crap poster here. TWUB is a conservative, and he does very well. If Colin Grabow returned, he'd do very well too. And you'll notice the lefty nutjobs (verybdog, Mel) aren't swimming in nipples. It's like I've written many times...we don't have to lie to make our case. Our posts are better because the facts are on our side.
verybdog is a lefty? OK, I won't contest it if you want ownership, but I have a hard time figuring out where that guy is coming from - except maybe this place http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/features/science/60797
What is even more of a question, in regard to the NAACP, is how they are keeping the negroes down in the Democrat party and penalizing anyone who dares vote conservative or green! Qwasi Mfume calls anyone out of Democrat Party House N..... and slurs anyone who dares strays from the party line! At issue is the organization... let everyone vote for whoever they wish! If Project 21 is of no interest to African Americans then it will be disolved... but at least allow it to function and give members an option to join! IntheNet
Pshaw! Facts - you can use those to prove anything that's even remotely true. Republicans, on the other hand, have god on their side. Small g.
Whoa whoa whoa. While Mel is often waaaay to the left, and I've had my disagreements with him (sometimes pretty forcefully) he's a bright guy, albeit often in left field. I don't mind claiming him. However, verybdog is NOT leftist. Nor a liberal. Nor anything to do with anyone sane. He should not be ascribed to us. He's just insane.
Ooops... Foot in mouth here. This didn't come out like I wanted it too. I DO think that for the most part, this is a liberal circle jerk. I do think InTheNet is a bit over the top with his old-line conservative ramblings. What I wanted to say, and failed to do so, is that I can imagine a lone wolf over the top conservative like inthenet would get neg repped in here quite often. As for me, I have no problems with any neg reps or pos reps. I think for the most part the reps I have gotten have been pretty fair and not "partisan" at all. Sorry if I appeared to be a "big ole baby".
