I have a problem with the teams in my city. I haven't played high skool here yet but i played in a city league this fall and high skool is coming up. There's a club team here and they think they're "all that"...they pretty much make up the high school team and they're all cocky little b*tches and i hate playing with them. What should i do? Should i not play or just play anyways???

I had that problem. Just go out and do your own thing. Play how you know to play and don't concern yourself with other people's problems. Plus, a little confidence/cockiness is good in soccer. :) So it might do you some good...but just don't get too cocky!

Last year and this year I had this problem, except the other way around. Me and my best friend play club, and when we made varsity and started our freshman year, all of the juniors showed tons of arrogance towards us. They thought that we thought we were better than them(even though we are much better), so they tried to make us feel like crap. So I just did my own thing on the field....and a lot of times I would find myself not passing it to them and dribbling b/c I wanted to make them mad and I knew that they would end up losing the ball anyways...

This year, two more of my friends from club came to varsity, lol....and the same thing goes on this year....

Don't worry NC_ODP02, when you're an upperclassman you'll have the same attitude towards new freshman. ;)
