I got the new Adidas Predator Manias last fall before this past season. They are great shoes and they treated my feet well all season, but... The elastic band that holds the tongue down over the laces broke about midway through the season. This wasn't a major problem, but it made it hard to keep my shoes tied and I had to be careful not to trip over the elastic band. Has anybody else had this problem? I'm sending the shoes back to Adidas for them to check them out. Do you think they will replace them or are they going to tell me it's a "natural part of the game"?
Where did it break? They might repair it, but I'm not sure if they will send a brand new pair of boots for you. However, I don't see how they prevent your laces from staying done up. I would have just cut the band
It broke right at the tongue. It basically came unatached from the leather. I called customer service and they said they couldn't fix it but they might replace the shoes if they decide it's a defect. I've heard that this happens to quite a few people, so I'm trying to find if Adidas is actually going to do anything about it.
i see, well if u receieved a favorable response, then sounds like u will get it replaced, good luck with that
