What if the people at the club were relegated....NOT the club? So, for instance, finish last in MLS, the coach and players all get relegated BUT the club stays in the top division. Expansion teams have already shown that teams with no prior experience can do pretty well in MLS. So a totally new roster would play for that "relegated team" in the same division, next season. Only thing I can think is what happens to the team that wins the second division? IDK I guess they could play in the top division next season with an unbalanced schedule? Or?? IDK.....
