Podolski speaks about a possible return to FC Köln. He doesn't rule out playing again, but is also interested in working within the youth development department. http://www.90min.de/posts/5927231-effzeh-im-herzen-podolski-spricht-ueber-rueckkehr-zum-1-fc-koeln
Looks like a Poldi return for next season continues to be good possibility https://www.bundesliga.com/en/news/...rld-cup-arsenal-bayern-hector-horn-479477.jsp http://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/lukas-podolski-vor-comeback-beim-1-fc-koln/
The presence of someone like Prinz Poldi could be a missing puzzle piece in this year's WC squad. Back in Brazil 2014, him and other guys like the goofball Grosskreutz and maybe even a veteran like Mertesacker were there to help with the mood and building chemistry of the overall team. http://www.fussballtransfers.com/we...ungsloch-war-poldi-der-schlusselspieler_92363
outside of Neuer, I don't really see any leaders on this current team. I recall so many people wanted Podolski gone after EC12, even though he was always a better player in the NT over club and is Germany's 3rd all time scorer. Both a factor on and off the field. It's another reason why judging a player's value based on club performances isn't always valid.
