Eff it.. let boca win. The Argentine league title means nothing nowadays anyway lol

I’ve seen so many fans say “prefiero jugar la sudamericana a que gane boca el torneo”…. Lol ******** that! A whole year without Libertadores to play is sad.

Chiqui just give Boca the damn championship already!

Well look likes Cambeses is a decent PK stopper. Maybe that is why Scaloni is picking him.

    :D

    Got lucky.

Well, rumors are circulating that Dybala may join Boca. My best guess would be after the Serie A is done. I always thought he would end up in Miami with Messi.

At one time, there was serious discussion that Muñeco would take over the Selección when Scaloni was finished. Now, who knows what will happen to him next. He bled River; maybe he will find a job in Brasil or Europe or something.

But it could be similar to Bianchi. At one time, he was the toast of the town, but he left and returned, left again, and returned again, and the game had left him behind. Granted, Gallardo’s time was not that long, but sometimes a player or a manager just sticks around for too long and never discovers that magic again.

LOL you cannot make this stuff up.. starting next year, it looks like the 9th placed team in the annual table will qualify for the Libertadores, while the 3rd ranked will play the Sudamericana

They are making it reaaallly, realllllly hard to continue wanting to watch the domestic league. Chiqui just destroys everything in his path

How the ******** does that make any sense? What's the official explanation, scheduling or something?

Also wtf is this moronic strike by the clubs to protest Chiqui being investigated? Absolute corrupt clownery.

The alleged stance is that the third placed teams in recent years have been eliminated in the preliminary Copa phase (think Boca vs Alianza Lima in the last edition, or Argentinos Juniors this year), thus being ineligible for both the Sudamericana and the Libertadores. The argument is that these teams are unjustly left without an international competition all year long because of a playoff game, while the lower-ranked teams get to spend the year flying all over the continent playing the Sudamericana. So the idea is that this will “gift” the third placed teams a chance to not only compete all year long internationally, but also rake in the economic fruits that these type of tournaments bring.

This is the argument…. however, how about we work on creating a more competitive league so teams don’t have to worry about being sent home early in the Libertadores? This is just a bunch of nonsense disguised as a benefit to a team that could hypothetically be left without a competition (only in the case of an early loss), but all it does is punish those who do better throughout the year. I can already see the 6th, 7th, and 8th placed teams purposely losing in the last round in a desperate attempt to clinch that 9th placed Libertadores spot.

But in reality, if we’re being honest, this is all probably a way to sneak Barracas into the copa :ROFLMAO:

I mean that's a problem for CONMEBOL to fix (why can't the loser go to Sudamericana), not AFA. So dumb lol
