Final Ascenso Thurs., May 22 Indios vs. León - 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT Sun., May 25 León vs. Indios - 1 PM ET / 4 PM PT
For the game in Leon, the tickets sold out in 3 hours. That's 24,500 seats. Some where sold on the internet, but people camped out all night waiting too. When the fans got upset that the ticket office closed, 20 local police were called in to calm things down. (Source)
Dosen't surprise me though, coming from the people that charged to watch El Tri practice.....Sure, I would have loved to have gone, but you can't watch a decent game from Cabecera, and I don't want to risk them overselling Sombra or Sol to make an extra buck...or peso and sitting in Cabecera either way(Like they did for the Women's game.....) Way to stick it to your fans Indios.....I hope these aren't the prices they will charge if they go up....
Fútbol Telemundo León vs. Club de Fútbol Indios (Ciudad Juárez) Domingo 25 de Mayo a la 1pm/12c Game will be live on Telemundo this Sunday the 2nd leg. http://tv.telemundo.yahoo.com/deportestelemundo/index.html
Exactly. I don't even want to read the Leon newspaper today because you can guess what their position will be. That's why they call it home field advantage.
2nd leg on Telemundo playing right now. I'm going for León because that team has too much history and titles (5 league titles, iirc) to not be in the top flght. Hopefully they can make it back to primera.
