What, am I the only one who watched this morning's game? 6-3 to the good guys. Entertaining, but I must say that all 9 goals were the result of shit defending. Players who stood out for me: Skipp, Richarlison, Gil, Royal, White. Others were solid but unspectacular. Kane and Son had 2 goals each, but pretty routine for them. Bissouma and Forster missed out due to the 'rona.
I watched the highlights. Seemed to be a fun game where people weren't sure how to defend, and the crowd had a great time
I liked the K league defender doing a volleyball dig and wondering why it was a penalty. Must have been a fun game to watch, unlike the last preseason I went to, vs. Liverpool in Baltimore 2012, 0-0 and stinking hot.
I was at that game - in the shade of the uppermost deck by just 2 rows, otherwise would have died. Dreadful match, but it was fun in B-more as it was the comic convention with all the freaks in costume.
I don't really get into the preseason friendlies, so many changes, and by the end of the games, it's often our reserves against their reserves. Also, often a lot of players who show well in preseason either never play in the first XI or are shite - Darren Bent and Ndombele are two who come to mind.
I was behind the goal and frying. Got some swag from the Under Armor launch, and marched in with the supporters groups. Fun day apart from the game [emoji23]. 1-1 with Sevilla in the second and final game in Korea, a Lamela reunion. Did not see, but apparently they tried Lucas at RWB. He's clearly down the pecking order for the front 3.
We beat Rangers 2-1. Should have been 3-1, at least, as Hojbjerg missed a sitter. I saw about 2/3 of the game. Front line of Son, Kane and Kulu looked sharp. We even looked pretty good towards the end, when we had 4 guys playing who will be loaned or sold. Squad looks good.
