Does outshooting someone count as a "result" ?

 

It resulted in outshooting a team and tying them nil-nil. Its a statistic, so you can read whatever conclusion you want into it.

 

As I recall, getting a lot of shots and very few goals was the story of Penn State's season last year.

 

This game seemed different in that last year, there were times when it felt like PSU simply couldn't score. Still, it was just an early preseason game. More telling will be the games tommorow and especially Monday.
