Futbol Car Cracks del Futuro Amateur Sports Team We are the best High Performance Center of the peninsula recognized by the application of methodological and pedagogical processes for the teaching of football
Is that what crack means? What country does that slang term come from?? I reviewed a movie from Chile called El Crack, but I didn’t think to look up what the title meant.
And yet here is the quote from Jackson Yueill: Overall, we’re ahead of where we were last year and that’s a good start for us.”
That’s my best guess anyway. For sure it is used positively to describe a soccer player. If it means anything more than that I don’t know.
Judging from various international web sites I've looked at for wine, cheese, clothing, etc. It is safe to assume that translation to English is not based on American English, but British English because the little flag icon next to "English" is the "Union Jack" not "Old Glory" and the term "Crack" is more associated with good or exceptional skills... Who can forget "Crack'n toast Grommet"?
I went through the entire MLS pre-season schedule: (https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2020/01/01/2020-mls-preseason-schedule). Only one team had as light a schedule as us - Seattle. However Seattle will start play in CCL next week. Every other team at least had multiple games against MLS opponents. We played Columbus Crew, a third tier MX club, a local Cancun development team, Reno, and Sac. Maybe it doesn't matter, but it's interesting that we will be the team who saw the least amount of competition in the pre-season.
Not at all. I've heard lots about other teams' offseason acquisitions but nothing about any effort to replicate Matias Almeyda's offseason fitness regiment. I'm assuming the Quakes are again marching to a different drummer.

I don't see Judson in any of the pictures and it seems like Rios and Hoesen are playing up top again with Eriksson deeper, Lima and TT as the full-backs ahead of Marcos Lopez. Lineups were not released, at least on Twitter

back at our home.putting in work for san jose.#VamosSJ pic.twitter.com/iLvyn17Hdq— San Jose Earthquakes (@SJEarthquakes) February 19, 2020 From this video I think we can infer the lineup, I think it was Vega - Lima, Alanis, Kashia, TT - Vako Eriksson Yueill Espinoza - Rios Hoesen
hard to tell from such a short clip, but do you think Tommy was playing more of midfield/attacking position rather on the back line....? seemed he was pretty far up the pitch in a couple of those clips.....
Yep - Rios with our only goal. I think that puts Rios at 3 or 4 goals this pre-season. Hopefully that trend can continue when we meet real competition. I wonder what's up with our defense allowing a USL team to score 3? Hopefully they were playing the kids or testing out some new strategies. We play one of the best teams in the league next week! In the pictures I've seen of the match (tweeted by sac republic) I saw Hoesen, Rios, Vako, Magnus, and Tommy on the field.
I also saw Lima's #24 and Kashia's knee tats. Only players unaccounted for are presumably Espinoza and Yueill
