After tonight, the next match for the Dynamo is against the HBU Huskies on Sat., Feb. 13 (kickoff - 11:00am) @ Houston Sports Park.
Nice 1st 30. Nothing terribly awful... with some good stuff going forward. Still wanna see the chemistry with the full starting squad. But, a few nice pieces that will fit in once injuries/call ups hit. Thank God we're not Colorado!
match over? score? was it more of a real match as opposed to the last two "let's just test different things and even tell the ref it wasn't a penalty" type of game?
Nobody stood out for either sides. The Dynamo looked the same as always, controlling possession, and moving the ball well, but horrific in front of goal. It was 0-0 while the first team players were on the field. I liked what I saw from Miranda, Olabiyi, Manotas, and Lucatero. Barnes, and Miranda combined well. It's concerning about Torres, and his inability to score. He had flashes, but not what you'd expect from a DP striker. Ibeagha looked good for stretches, but had some errors that led to giving away chances. Wenger made no impact, and crossed poorly.
Thanks! I didn't get to watch it but then again, poor camera work and my eyes are so bad that I would have a difficult time telling players apart on the computer screen. Yeah, Cubo is a puzzle. I blame Coyle for not being able to take advantage of a good striker like Cubo. I just watched 5 minutes this morning. This looked like vintage Dynamo 2014 and 2015, minus Davis. Some would see wonderful possession, great saves and "nice runs", whereas others would look at the score and see a big goose egg next to the Dynamo. This is just a preseason thing, right? Our attack will come alive, right? That's why we spent millions revamping our attack line, right? Maybe when the two spaniards join they will join the attack? PS Good thing you didn't comment on Maidana, otherwise Pittsburgh-machete would come here and start defending him. Why did you say "never mind" about Bruin?
He played well in the first 30, but faded in the next 30. He did not score, or threaten much as the game went on. Looked great at first.
