The game is set for today at 10AM (starting in couple of minutes). Does anyone have any connection with Florida on this. I'm stuck at work.
I would hope this was the A team that faced the Rapids. The Burn's 2nd game today is against Nova Southeastern.
At least those 2 are over 13 years old. I wouldn't take Nova Southeastern too lightly. I hear they run a wicked offsides trap.
Burn v. Rapids https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=35596 Here's a Colorado take on the game. Details still sketchy, but that's a pretty strong Colorado lineup vs. what even their fans refer to as our trialists.
yea, somewhere they had the line ups...cannot remember where. Yes, the team that played the rapids was the second string, the team that played the college boys was the first, two 70 minute games. What was most curious was that the team reported to play the college team was the starting lineup last year. The whole thing. Not sure why he would do that, but he did. my guess is he didn't want to push the "starters" and he did want to push the second string and the trialists. Hopefully we'll get good reporting from Chile.
Burn Starters (reserves?): Jeff Cassar, Carl Bussey, Shavar Thomas, Matt Behncke, Philip Salyer, Paul Dalglish, Ivan Iglesias, Brad Davis, Chris Gbandi, Andy Rosenband, Jerron Nixon Colorado Starters (1st team?): Scott Garlick, Ritchie Kotschau, Robin Fraser, Kyle Beckerman, Wes Hart, Chris Henderson, Steve Herdsman, Pablo Mastroeni, Mark Chung, Chris Carrieri, Casey Schmidt
The colors themselves say San Jose, the kits say Inter Milan. So now when Metros and Rapids play...it might just look like Inter vs AC Milan...are we trying to sucker the Eurosnobs? j/j
Well lets see now. For the last 29 years I have been waiting to celebrate the 11th NCAA Championship of Saint Louis University. For the last 29 consectutive years I have plummeted into a very deep funk of despair and depression following the SLU teams elimination from the NCAA's that lasts until the first match of the following season. So to answer your question nah I'm just a casual fan...
If it makes anyone feel better, Eddie J scored a goal vs. the Rapids a few days ago when they scrimmaged the U-20s. http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/ But, he's apparenlty picked up a minor ankle injury and did not play vs. the Colombian U-20s.
I've seen nothing anywhere indicating that Eddie Johnson is injured. Provide a link to the report, or stop using false drop lines to generate hits.
