http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensm...erins_Latinos_and_women_for_2010.html?showall I guess he doesn't need the votes of white males?
Yes, that's exactly what this means. In fact, I'm pretty sure Obama is sending a coded message that he, in fact, hates white people and the white culture.
Well, some of those "young people" could, presumably, be white males, couldn't they? What's your point, anyway? Are you seriously asking wether a politician needs the votes of white males in a predominantly white country, or are you just pissing in the wind again?
No, you have to read more carefully. He hates white men. He loves white women who are part of his coalition. In fact, I think it is safe to say that he is coming to take your white women.
Steamer, I'm sure you will vote for whoever advances the god given rights of all white males and don't need to put any thought into any of this.
Sadly, this still applies on Planet Steamer [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBv3BKY_604&feature=related"]YouTube- GYWO[/ame]
Nope. Sorry, but it's just the truth. IIRC, the last Democrat to win a majority of white male voters was Lyndon Johnson.
If not for white men, it would have been an epic landslide for Obama. Democrats focusing on the most Republican voter segment is the only scenario I can see in which the GOP could get majorities in both houses.
Worthless thread. There's a reason why so many threads started by right-wingers crash and burn here. Did'ja catch Steamer's sig? Dubya was a 9-5 president who spent 487 days at Camp David and 490 in Crawford, Texas. That's 977 days on vacation in just 2 spots. He was in office 2920 days or so.
Does the GOP need the latino vote? Because they sure are going about it kinda funny if you ask me.... http://newsjunkiepost.com/2010/04/23/how-latinos-in-arizona-and-in-other-states-will-strike-back/
Wait a second. A sitting President trying to energize those who voted for him to get out and vote in the midterms? No F*cking way.
I have to say, Obama has not exactly avoided being open to this criticism. I don't like the video, it's bad form, and is frankly a little insulting to africna americans, women and latinos for implying that white men are regular voters, but they are not.
What smart ass remark? ChefJim27 made a sarcastic comment, and it seemed to me that you missed the sarcasm.
yes, I missed the sarcasm. I thought he meant it. But when you say "please tell me you're kidding", you are implying that only a moron wouldn't get it. You win, enjoy your great victory.
...says the moron. For steamer: man it sucks being on the wrong side of history. I would know seeing as how I voted for Bush in 2000.
I was indeed being sarcastic. Why wouldn't either side "rally the troops" before an election. This would be news akin to water being wet. This sounds like the perfect FNC bullet point headline that they might use that really amounts to a giant fat heaping helping of nothing. Moran.
